Cascading Fountain

DESCRIPTION:

This cascading water feature was nestled into a hillside in a conifer forest on the Key Peninsula, South Puget Sound. It is a 3-tier, pod membrane lined watershed that incorporates river stone, granite and flagstone throughout. These pour into a 150 gallon basin and pumps back up to a 12’ waterfall spillway at the top.

The client and I discussed her vision for the use of this zone and stayed in touch through the install, the more nuanced details of which were designed as we progressed through the project.

The finished product has a natural, integrated seamlessness in the the landscape, while adding the relaxing ambience of a flowing creek.

“Ben built me a pond, which I had no vision for, nor any desire to do myself, as I had built two ponds at another home.

Not only did Ben exceed any expectations I had, but he allowed me to relinquish control of my heavily guarded inner sanctum; my garden.  His landscape design, flora and fauna awareness, and overall knowledge of all things pond, rendered me speechless as I watched him work, daring not to utter a sound at his methodically crafted endeavor.

I can’t wait to see him work on my next project!”
